Nutritional Philosophy

Dr. Lindsey’s nutritional philosphy is pretty simple. He believes that eating nutritious foods is the path to your long term health and well-being.
Fad diets may come and go, but there’s pretty strong evidence that diets don’t work, aren’t sustainable and may even cause your body harm.
Healthy eating is a “nutritional constant” and part of a lifestyle that is easy to adapt and maintain long term. Dr. Lindsey believes that healthy eating also includes the top 7 things that your body needs in regards to nutrients from food in order to sustain life: protein, essential fatty acids, polysaccharides, carbohydrates, water and other hydrating liquids, enzymes, as well as a combination of fiber and probiotics.
In addition to the nutrients mentioned above, you will also want to include exercise, healthy living, positive thinking, de-stressing techniques (such as meditation) and moderation into your life to support your path to long term health and well-being.
